Val, daughter of the acclaimed Dante Vargas, multiple Latin Grammy-winning musician and producer, leads the band on vocals.

Deezle, a 3-time Grammy-winning producer (Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj), champions the bass and vocals as well as serving as the group’s producer.

Emiliano, a Grammy-winning trumpeter (The United States vs Billie Holiday, toured with Ricky Martin & Marc Anthony), covers the brass.

Anier, an extraordinary Cuban percussionist and repeated
champion of Cuba’s Fiesta del Tambor (Festival of Drum), brings the rhythm on percussion.

And Friki, son of the founder of the Buena Vista Social Club and a
highly decorated musician, holds it down on guitar.

Imagínatelo - You’re dancing on the beach. It could be Miami, Rio, or Barcelona. Take your pick! The sand is between your toes, and the bass is blasting. La vida es buena. Buena onda.

Vale! ULB’s music captures this feeling. It blends Latin influences with Cuban rhythms, Hip-Hop soul, and New Orleans bounce. It is our own Cabana Bounce.
